The Old Jewish cemetery is one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Bohemia. It was established probably in the first half of the 15th century and was used until 1887. The oldest preserved gravestones come from the end of 15th century. There are approximately 2 600 gravestones within the area of more than one hectare. A lot of significant Jewish personalities including rabbis are buried here.
